Stephanie J. Rimka, BA, DC, BCN is a diverse practitioner dedicated to helping others transform and empower their lives. Dr. Stephanie is a Board Certified Doctor of Chiropractic and Board Certified in Neurofeedback (BCN) through the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA.org).

She continues learning methods to release the limitations of the personality and to expand consciousness towards a humanitarian, evolutionary approach to oneness. After receiving her BA in 1995 from Albion College, Albion, MI, her 25 year career in health care began as a direct care and case worker for schizophrenics. Her interest in emotions and their relation to brain dysfunction led her to a seemingly unlikely place: Chiropractic College at Life University, Marietta, GA where she received her Doctorate in 2000 graduating Summa Cum Laude. Yet, it was through understanding that there were natural ways to help restore proper brain function and improve quality of life without drugs which motivated her decision. After completing an intensive 2 year training program in the international organization Global Relationships Centers, she co-taught an interpersonal communications course called Understanding Yourself and Others based on Jungian, Adlerian, and Gestalt principles for large groups; she participated in a 2 year study of Soul Focused Healing and Energy Mastery with Deborah Mills; and she mentored privately for 3 years on coaching and teaching techniques with therapeutic specialist Apolonia Fortino. Combining this understanding of feelings and motivations with a strong background in the sciences of human anatomy and physiology, Dr. Stephanie addresses the subtle realm of the psyche where thoughts and feelings reside and correlates their effects on the physical body. She craves growth through traditional learning and experiential transformation. It is this eagerness to constantly search for newer and better ways to be of service to others that led her to discover the inspiring results of neurofeedback and metabolic nutrition.

Dr. Stephanie closely coordinated the early recovery efforts of her 19 year old autistic nephew Kyle. She has physically worked on him herself as well as facilitates and/or consults with his DAN doctor, holistic pediatrician, nutritionist, horse therapist, psychologist, and neurofeedback practitioner. Today, her sister has taken over this role substantially. However, this ongoing experience motivates her heart towards new levels of compassion and her mind towards deeper understanding of brain-based dysfunction. The moment Kyle's mother (Dr. Stephanie’s sister Kim) stated casually, “Without a doubt, out of everything we have done, the neurofeedback has had the most obvious positive impact on Kyle,” Dr. Stephanie knew she was going to learn neurofeedback.

The office has expanded its services substantially over the years to include various other ways to modulate the nervous system. Dr. Rimka incorporates more electromedicine and photobiomodulation into her healing style than ever before. In addition, she has continued her training in Functional Medicine circles by studying the likes of Abram Hoffer, MD, (orthomolecular psychiatry); William Walsh, PhD, (orthomolecular medicine); Ben Lynch, ND; Daniel Pompa, DC; David Perlmutter, MD; Jeff Volek, PhD, RD; and Stephen Finney, MD, PhD.

She is proud to combine her knowledge of multiple neurological and biochemical disciplines with her unique approach of listening, caring, and teaching to provide an effective and caring healing opportunity for entire families.

On most days, she can be found in Atlanta, GA discussing the concepts of her favorite physicist Nassim Haramein's black hole theory with her son Bennett.
